Nyx, daughter of Helios, sends Morus back in time to a year before Oro's birth. His task is to ensure the death of Oro's parents in a raid on their village. Helios sees this disturbance in the timeline, and sends Oro in response. During the raid, Morus kills what he thinks is Oro's father and begins to retreat, but is surprised by Oro himself, who meets him on the field of battle. The two Knights fight fiercely, neither gaining an edge, until Oro manages to sever Morus's arm and destroy his Chronos Device which eliminates his ability to jump back and forth in time. Stepping up to finish the fight, Oro is rocked by a sudden explosion as a dark portal opens up just behind Morus and drags the fallen Knight through. Before it closes, however, Oro glimpses the cracked, hellish visage of the being called Exile.
